Cowboy Ball

The annual Cowboy Ball is the one of the area’s most popular western events, and is currently the North Idaho Fair & Rodeo Foundation’s biggest fundraiser of the year and has sold out every year since its' inception! It’s a chance to gear up in your best western wear, get down on some finger-lickin’ barbeque, and kick up your boots to live country performances!

Chicks n Chaps

The North Idaho State Fair and Gem State Stampede will be holding its 16th annual Chicks n Chaps event, a Women’s Only Rodeo Clinic presented by the Coeur d'Alene Casino on Friday August 23, 2024, at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds. All proceeds will benefit local people fighting breast cancer and the Fair & Rodeo Foundation. This clinic is about having fun, learning about the sport of rodeo, and spending the afternoon with your girlfriends raising awareness and money in the fight against breast cancer. You also get to stay and watch the rodeo from your own VIP seating in “The Chick Pit”!
