This group of dynamic individuals selflessly volunteers hundreds of hours to the fairgrounds and success of the fair and rodeo year after year.
Not only do they handle improvements of the rodeo grounds and overseeing every last detail of the rodeo, they also play a huge role in the Pro-West Rodeo Finals, Lake City Junior Rodeo, the Spokane Interstate Rodeo, and they organize a Bareback and Saddle Bronc clinic!

The Gem State Stampede Rodeo Committee is dedicated to producing a professional rodeo during the North Idaho State Fair, as well as hosting and promoting junior rodeos and clinics throughout the region to encourage participation in rodeo. The committee’s hope is to create an opportunity for local youth to join the sport of rodeo and pursue the western sports lifestyle. This clinic is also sponsored and supported by the PRCA Columbia River Circuit and its Rodeo Committees.

Eligibility: Interested youth ages 13 and older.
Cost: $150 per student $50 deposit due at registration.
Scholarships are available.
