Join Us for the Event of the Year! Step back in time for an unforgettable evening at the Newby-ginnings Company B Ball & Gala! This special fundraiser supports the Newby-ginnings Veterans Community Center, dedicated to improving the lives of our local Veterans, Active Duty Service Members, and Gold Star Families. Put on your best 1940s USO-inspired attire and dance the night away at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds’ Jacklin Building on Saturday, November 1st, 2025. Enjoy a night filled with live music, dancing, delicious food, and heartfelt camaraderie—all while making a meaningful impact on those who have served our country. Newby-Ginnings of North Idaho, Inc. was created in October 2013 in honor and in memory of SPC Nicholas Newby who was killed in action in Baghdad, Iraq on July 7, 2011. Our mission is to provide resources, referrals and essential personal and household items to Veterans, Active Military and their families as well as families of our fallen heroes (Gold Star families) at absolutely no cost to them.
